How many times can you run a scene in an hour. I think we hit a record tonight. It took about 10 takes to finally get through it but now we figured out the window needs to stay open. At least everyone was laughing!
Good work tonight and we are now working with the set and it all feels good.

Trivia from the Nest
- > Will Sampson, who plays Chief, was a park ranger in Oregon near the park where the movie was filmed. He was selected for the part because he was the only Native American that casting could find who matched the character's incredible size.
- > The movie was filmed at Oregon State Hospital in Salem, Oregon.
- > Kirk Douglas played McMurphy in the stage version of the novel. His son Michael would later produce the movie.
